Hi, I'm Amy the English Tutor!
If you are looking for a passionate, well-qualified English tutor, you have landed in the right place.
I offer bespoke English Language and English Literature tuition to students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-level.

I offer 1-to-1 or small group tuition, enabling students to receive highly specific intervention and support.
Based in Norwich, tuition is delivered online to both local students and those around the world.

ABOUT ME

I started my teaching journey over a decade ago as a secondary school English teacher, before launching Amy the English Tutor in 2024.

I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

I have been tutoring for over a decade, both in person and online.

I am highly experienced in teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE, iGCSE, and A-level Literature.

I am a GCSE examiner for two of the main exam boards.

I am good humoured, patient, and adaptable. Tutoring has the advantage of being tailored to the individual’s needs, and I make that the number one priority.

I am based in Norwich, U.K., but offer tuition to students all around the world via online platforms.

I also provide consultancy and intervention services to schools in the local area.
